Observe if the LCD-Display values correspond with your exercises. Does that not happen, there might be one of the following problems:

  1. The unit is not turned on.
    • Move the switch on the backpanel to the position "I".

  2. The batteries are too weak.
    • if in doubt replace the batteries with new ones.

  3. The cable is not properly connected or has a break.
    • check if the connector is properly inserted and secured.
    • Flex the cable and simultaneously observe the readings. If the readings disappear, then you have a broken wire in the cable. Contact the IPN Infocenter for a replacement.

  4. The electrodes are defective.
    • Connect each wire-end with an electrode (total of four). Put two electrodes on top of each other making good contact (blue on blue, red on red). The readings on the LCD-Display should indicate zero (no potenial).
    • If the surfaces of the electrodes show obvious signs of wear or discolorations, replace them with new ones.
    • We recommend periodic replacement of the electrodes under heavy use.

  5. The electrodes have poor contact to the skin (especially where the hair is)
    • If the surfaces of the electrodes show obvious signs of wear or discolorations, replace them with new ones.

  6. You have strong energy blockages.
    • Try to exercise, perform the recommended seven rune exercises, meditate, see a chiropractor.

Where do most common energy blockages occur?

The most common problem areas are along the spine (between points 1 and 7). Most common is the neck area (5 and 6) and the lower back (2 and 3). Tense muscles, poor posture while standing or sitting, will create energy blockages and whole body sections receive poor blood circulation. Little energy can therefore reach the brain and low energy and little power is the result.
